besides our basic programme, our supplementary programme provides extra assurance in the event of a child is travelling into a region where chances of certain infections are high.

Travellers

HP Programme

For people who are travelling on holidays or for short breaks.

This programme is for those who visit the areas of world, where there is a high risk of catching infectious diseases.

Before this we give the details of our HP programme, here is the summary of Immunisation on NHS:

Through NHS (national health service) in Great Britain routine vaccines are given for;

Diphtheria	Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
Haemophilous influenza type b (Hib)
Meningitis C (Meningeococcal group C)
Pertusis (whoopin cough)
Pneumococcal infection
Polio
Tetanus

Cervical cancer caused by hum. n papillomavirus types 12 and 13.

Non-routine immunisation is given for;

BCG (TB) vaccination

Travel vaccines which are;

Hepatitis B, Malaria, SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), Varicella (chickenpox).

Above list will grow as new vaccines are developed.

Homeoprophylaxis (HP) Programme at Wellness Homeopathy:

At Wellness Homeopathy, our Main HP programme covers the following diseases ;

Diphtheria	Optional (MMR)
Haemophilus maningitis (Hib)	Measles
Meningeococcal disease	Mumps
Pertusis (whoopin cough)	Rubella
Pneumococcal disease
Polio
Tetanus

Optional remedies for Influenza and Hepatitis B are provided, as well as a remedy for tetanus wounds.

The programme is designed to be used from one month of age to 84 months of age, although it may be started from any age.

Generally, nosodes (homeopathic remedies in potnetised form prepared from product of disease) are used in our HP programme but in an unlikely event where person is unable to take nosodes a substitution remedy is prescribed.

Besides our Main programme a Supplementary Programme is used IF the child is likely to be exposed to infection, e.g., visiting relatives with whooping cough, measles, meningococcal outbreak in the town. The reason for this supplement programme is that no method of protection is 100% perfect, thus the supplementary remedies are like"extra assurance", to minimise the likelihood of infection.

Our Main and Supplementary Programmes are adapted form the programme devised by Dr Isaac Golden, who is world authority on Homeoprophylaxis, and has undertaken the world's largest long-term study of parents using such a programme...

HP for travellers

During a holiday or working visit to a country, HP advice and remedies are available for diseases like Cholera, Dysentery, Malaria, Smallpox, Tuberculosis, Typhoid/Typhus, Yellow Fever, Hepatitis (A, B, C), Meningitis, and Jap. B Encephalitis.


HP Rubella during pregnancy

It is clearly desirable for girls to contract rubella naturally before reaching child bearing age. Since, the natural immunity which results is the most certain form of immunity. If protection against rubella is required during pregnancy. The specific homeopathic nosode will provide protection without the risk of the side effects.
